Los Amantes Madrid Dress Code: What to Wear
Los Amantes, at Calle Serrano 43, is a smaller, closer room than the big clubs β and in a room that intimate, how people look is part of the atmosphere. Here is what its dress code means, what to wear for a house night there and what will not get past the door.
Tickets and VIP tables at Los Amantes Madrid βThe dress code in one line
Smart casual. Los Amantes does not allow trainers, sportswear or ripped denim, and a stylish look is what gets you a smooth, fast entry. Nothing formal is required β just clearly dressed for a night out.
| Yes | No |
|---|---|
| Smart shoes, loafers, boots | Trainers or running shoes |
| Clean dark jeans or trousers | Ripped or heavily worn jeans |
| Shirt, polo, knit or a smart top | Tracksuits, football shirts, gym gear |
| A dress or a smart two-piece | Beachwear, shorts with flip-flops |
What to wear: men
- Clean dark jeans or trousers, well fitted.
- A shirt or a knit does more in a small room than a T-shirt; a light jacket finishes the look.
- Leather shoes, loafers or boots rather than trainers.
- Go easy on big logos β the room is close and the look reads better understated.
What to wear: women
- A dress or a smart top with trousers, a skirt or clean jeans.
- Shoes you can stand and dance in all night; the floor is close-quarters, so comfort matters.
- Small bag over a big one β space is tighter than in a large club.
- A layer for outside; inside it warms up fast.
What does not get through the door
- Trainers and running shoes.
- Sportswear of any kind: tracksuits, football shirts, gym gear.
- Ripped or heavily worn denim.
- Beachwear and flip-flops; caps off before the front of the queue.

Dressing for an intimate room
Los Amantes plays house and deep house to a crowd that comes to go out properly, and in a room this size you are always close to the next table. That makes it a place for clean, considered outfits rather than costume: good fit, a texture or colour that stands out, and shoes that look sharp up close. It works as well for a couple as for a group celebrating.
What about trainers?
The policy at Los Amantes is no trainers. Even very clean pairs are a risk, and being turned away on Serrano at 1am is not the plan. If a specific pair is your only option or you are unsure for your date, ask us before you leave home.
Table or guest list: getting to the door
With a VIP table and your booking confirmation you have priority access, which in a room this size also means a guaranteed spot to sit. On the guest list, arrive within the terms we confirm for your night. Send us the date and how many you are and we handle the rest.
